Welcome!

Lesson 4 Tutorial 1

You should now have everything all link up on the home page!!! Woohoo!

Now let's close the ebay.html, links.html, and contactme.html pages.

We want to close them so we get the text right on the homepage, and not accidentally put it on any other page.

Open up the Home.html (if it is not already open)

And we are going to place a layer inside the graphic...like this.

You will see a box come up, this is a layer. Drag the layer inside the your graphic. Like this...

Now click inside the layer and add some text inside the layer...just start typing.
NOTE: If you click outside the graphic, your layer might hide itself. Just click back in the layer, and it will appear.

Now add the title of the page...You can go up to Modify, and then click page properties, and type
in a title or if you have Dreamweaver 4, you have a title bar at the top of your page.

Now Save this file. (File, Save). Hit the F12 key on your keyboard to see how it will look.

Now you can open up the other pages...ebay.html, links.html, contactme.html, and do the same. Add a layer
and type in some text, and a new graphic if you want! Remember to save often, and make sure you are saving the right pages!!!

End of lesson 4
Let's go to Lesson 5
Make sure you can do all of these things before proceeding!
